Pixtons

I know we have been terrible at adding to this blog.  I apologize!!  Here is a brief summary of the past 6 months. 

SEPTEMBER:
Alex turned 13 and had a minecraft party


Julia turned 6 and we had a family party.

We get lots of wild life in our yard: deer, turtles, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, snakes, foxes, woodpeckers, etc. It's no wonder we can't grow things--its all gets eaten!!

OCTOBER:
Patricia turned 8 and was baptized.

Mormon Homecoming
Note:  Rachel planned to go to the Mormon Homecoming (they let 14 y ear old go--no date thougth) but on the way there she slammed her finger in the door and made her finger explode.  So needless to say, she stayed home and it took months for her finger to recover.

DECEMBER:

JANUARY:
We had a few big snow storms and school was canceled a number of times.  So the kids spend hours sledding on the snow and building tunnels.

FEBRUARY:
During all the breaks and snow days, we worked tirelessly on this 1000 piece photomosaic puzzle.  It was sooo hard!  Here is Alex with the finished piece--he framed it and has it hanging in his bedroom.

MARCH:
 Isaac turned 12 and was ordained a deacon.

Patricia hosted a friends party during spring break where they did crafts and she painted all their faces
 ARRIL:

 MAY:

 We did a LOT of yard work this year.  Bruce build garden boxes along the side of our house so we could try a garden.  We wrapped it in deer netting so the deer and rabbits can't get it, and we'll just hope the moles and voles will leave it alone!!
